Overview
Biomerix has developed a portfolio of surgical meshes incorporating the Biomerix Biomaterial™. By leveraging the Biomaterial across its product innovations, the Company is able to offer surgeons and interventionalists solutions that are capable of supporting tissue repair and regeneration.
Hernia Repair
- ASSURE™ is the latest addition to the Company’s innovative portfolio of soft tissue repair devices. With two distinctly different sides, ASSURE features
the Biomerix Biomaterial™ on one side, designed to promote tissue ingrowth, and a resorbable protective film on the other side, designed to minimize tissue attachment to the device in case of direct contact with the viscera. It is indicated for use in hernias and soft tissue deficiencies and for the temporary bridging of fascial defects.
- REVIVE™ consists of the Biomerix Biomaterial, a non-resorbable (reticulated) polycarbonate polyurethane-urea, and incorporates knitted polypropylene monofilament fibers for strength.
REVIVE acts as an ideal tissue scaffold in the repair and reinforcement of hernia and other soft tissue defects.
Rotator Cuff Repair
- The Biomerix RCR Patch™ is comprised of the Biomerix Biomaterial, a non-absorbable (reticulated) polycarbonate polyurethane-urea, incorporating polyester fibers
in a grid pattern for strength. It is intended for use in the specific application of reinforcement of the soft tissues that are repaired by suture or suture anchors during rotator cuff repair surgery.
Regenerative Medicine Research
The Biomerix 3D Scaffold™ composed of the Biomerix Biomaterial, is designed to mimic the nature and function of the extracellular matrix (ECM) for regenerative medicine research.
